LEWISTON ART FESTIVAL WINNERS ANNOUNCED, 2018
The 52nd annual Lewiston Art Festival took place over the weekend, with more than 175 top artists along Center Street, and future exhibitors on display via the high school KeyBank Chalk Walk competition and College Alley.
ART FESTIVAL AWARD WINNERS NAMED
The Optimist Club of Lockport announced the winners of its 2018 Outdoor Arts & Crafts Festival. They are: Nikki Milley, best of show; Laurie Baldwin, pottery and ceramics; Fred Janik, wood painting and country wood; Joseph Hubert, painting and photography; Sarah Wachowski, fabric and soft sculptures; Scott Hanley, woodworking and wood carving; Diane Harper, floral; Penny Despos, jewelry; Sandra Martin-Smith, glass; and Pam Hubert, miscellaneous.
MILLEY TAKES TOP PRIZE AT ART247 BLACK & WHITE EXHIBITION
Lockport artist nikki Milley took first place in in the judging of ART247’s Black & White exhibition.
Milley’s graphite and charcoal drawing of “Rats Nest” was deemed by a panel of judges to be the best of the several pieces submitted in the gallery exhibit during the show’s opening Saturday, January 13th.
ART247, formerly Market Street Art Studios, is located at 247 Market Street. The exhibit runs through February 17th.

FALL ART SHOW WINNERS NAMED
The Niagara Arts Guild recently presented 15 of its members with awards at its annual Fall Art Show, held at the Lockside Art Center, 21-41 Main St.
